Elands Bay is one of the best waves in Africa, with a long left hand break. It is a relatively easy wave, however it barrels in the right conditions. As it is quite far off the grid it does not get very crowded. The best months are from March until November but anytime can get epic. There is another 6 regional classic waves around on a stretch of about 30 km north to Lamberts Bay
